Today we will start an adventure in this magical land, we will go on a full day tour of the Capital, by photographing the UNESCO heritage site, Golestan Palace. The lavish Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. Built around a garden featuring pools as well as planted areas, then walking distance is the Grand Bazaar with its maze of bustling alleys and bazars. Next, you will visit National Museum of Iran, where you will find fabulous historical items from 5000 BC to the advent of Islam in Iran which shows brief history of our land. We will have lunch at an Iranian style restaurant, after that we proceed to visit the most dazzling collection of gemstones and jewelry known in the world located in the heart of the city. The Crown Jewels of Iran have been little more than a legend in the past. The Treasury of Iranian National Royal Jewels accommodates the world's most precious jewelry collection. The treasury has an interesting history, going back centuries. Next, we will stop at Nature bridge or also known as Tabiat Bridge, which is a 270-metre bridge that connects two public parks - Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park. after breakfast in the hotel, we will drive towards Alamut via the city of Qazvin, which is about 300 km and takes around 4 hours. We will visit Ovan Lake, heading toward historic caves and after a short hike, we will get to the castle of myths at Gazorkhan village, which is also known for its beautiful cherry orchards. You'll have your lunch in the village with a hot drink, before continuing your way up to the mountain to visit the Alamut Castle. Next, we will have a photography over the eagle mount at the Fortress of Hasan Sabbah, where we will enjoy the wildlife and wonderful landscape of this legendary valley. The remainder of the day will be spent at the village where you can have opportunity to socialize with locals before a traditional dinner. Early in the morning after breakfast we will drive to north of Iran (about 320Km) and we will see one of the most magnificent historical buildings in Iran, Roudkhan Castle (with an area of 2.6 hectares). It is a military complex which had been built during the Sassanid era (224-651), and later reconstructed during the Seljuq period by followers of the Ismaili sect. Due to the natural mountainous features, it was possible to build the castle on two tips of a mountain. Next, we will head to Masuleh Village, en route visiting Fuman (the capital of Fuman County, located in Gilan Province) Masuleh Village is one of the most popular traditional villages in the north of Iran. With its unique architecture, the buildings are interconnected and have been built into the mountain. The Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. No vehicle or motor is permitted to enter the city. It is the only village in Iran with such a prohibition. Most of the houses are painted yellow to make them visible in the foggy days of the mountain. Masuleh is also a great favorite of foreign tourists and the most photographed villages in Iran. We will walk in the city where local people sell their handicrafts. Today leaving the Masuleh village to Ardabil, driving from the beautiful road of Asalem-Khalkhal, we arrive in Ardabil at afternoon and visit the Monument of Sheikh Safieddin Ardabil which is one of the most historical and valuable places of Ardabil. This worthy and historic place was registered in the UNESCO world heritage list in 2010 and was made by using traditional Iranian architecture. A variety of areas such as the library, mosque, school, tank, hospital, kitchen, bakery and several offices were established in it. In addition to the monument of Sheikh Safi din Ardabili, shrine of shah Ismail 1 (The first Safavid king) is located in this complex too. Next, we visit Museum of Anthropology, where you can feel the richness of Iranian art, architecture and history gathered in this museum. Ardabil museum of archeology is one of the most equipped and beautiful technical museums in Iran in terms of architecture and atmosphere. This museum displays 1-million-year-old history and civilization of Iran, which the experts consider it as the oldest history of archeological discoveries of the country. At evening we drive 25 kilometers away from Ardabil, to Sarein city. Sarein Springs are near an inactive volcano in Mount Sabalan and its water contains Sulphur particles and it is believed that it is good for bone and joint pains. The word Sarein in the Persian dictionary means “Spring’s Outlet”. You can enjoy bathing there. /ON Sarein/

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Tabriz "City of Firsts", Upon arrival in Tabriz we will start the city tour and visit the magnificent Kabud Mosque (Blue Mosque). The mosque was completed in 1465, but skilled artisans spent another quarter-century painstakingly covering the entire mosque with intricately-painted, brilliantly blue tiles and calligraphy. Often referred to as the Blue Mosque, this magnificent landmark was extensively damaged by two 18th-century earthquakes. But as you stand before the north façade with much of its original tile work still intact, you’ll get a glimpse into the enduring artistic legacy of Iran’s ancient dynasties. Lunch will be served in a fish house, Afterwards, you will visit the Tabriz Bazaar, the only bazaar on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The present-day structure, a vast maze-like complex of bricked arches and vaulted passageways, still evokes the spirit of its earliest days when Tabriz was one of the most important commercial centers along the ancient Silk Road. It’s a wonderful place to chat with engaging merchants and browse for jewelry, carpets and spices. You’ll also get the chance to mingle with friendly residents who are here to shop for spices and other daily staples. Next, we will visit the Constitution House of Tabriz which is a symbol of challenging despotism in contemporary Iranian history. You’ll also see the Arg-e Alishah, (Citadel of Alishah) an imposing but unfinished 14th-century monument that later served as a military fortress during the Russo-Persian Wars of the 19th century. End your day by visiting Shah Golu (El-Golu), a large park with an artificial lake in the middle. It is a really good place for evening strolls and have dinner. /ON Tabriz/

Today, you’ll travel to Kandovan Village in the volcanic highlands of Mt. Sahand. For more than 700 years, the people of this remote and rugged region have inhabited cave dwellings inside the mountains and unusual stone formations. You’ll spend time engaging with community residents for a fascinating look into their life. Some live in natural cave formations while others have excavated larger rooms, whitewashed and decorated with colorful carpets and textiles. Although traditions go back for generations, many families have modernized their homes with electricity and running water. We will have lunch in a known restaurant named Berkeh and taste Tabriz local food and fishes, after lunch we will drive to airport for a short flight to Shiraz, before check in hotel we will have dinner in a restaurant, /ON Shiraz/

We will start the day with a morning photo shoot at the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque. It seems like a fairly traditional house of worship, but it’s hiding a gorgeously colorful secret. It’s also known as the “Pink Mosque” for the rose-colored tiles that cover the interior. The stained-glass windows are magnificent and when the sun pours through, the photo opportunities are amazing. We will then walk to see Narenjestan Ghavam Museum and Garden, it is traditional and historical house with a small garden, included wooden columns and wooden roof with mirror work along with paintings and is among architectural feats of Qajar era. Then we will visit Karmikhani Complex, the residential palace of Zand dynasty. Karim Khan Zand, the founder of Zand dynasty choose Shiraz as his capital and declared himself as “Vakil”, the lawyer of the nation, rather than king. We continue to Vakil complex comprising of Vakil Mosque and Vakil Bazar, where we can photograph the spice merchants, carpet sellers, dried fruit vendors and tailors. Lunch will be in a local and well-known restaurant in Shiraz. Our next stop is the Eram Garden or also known as the Garden of Paradise, it has some 'typical Persian' features with beautiful flowers, refreshing air, aromatic myrtles and towering cypress trees, including one tree which is said to date back to 3000 years ago (Sarv-e naz). The beautiful Eram garden was registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 as the symbol of Persian. Our last visit in Shiraz is Tomb of Hafez which is in a peaceful garden setting that drips with an ambience of poetry and romance. The 14th-century writer is considered the Shakespeare of Iran, one of the greatest Persian poets of all time, and a source of national pride. The mausoleum has 8 pillars which signify the century when he lived. We will end the day in Shiraz by visiting the Holy Shrine Emamzadeh Ali Ebne Hamze at night to capture some nice photos, Dinner will be in a local restaurant in Shiraz, /ON Shiraz/

After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Yazd, approximately 440KM, En-route visit Naghsh-e-Rostam (Necropolis) to see Ka’be-Zardosht (fire temple/sanctuary), and Royal Tombs (also Achaemenes), plus seven magnificent Sassanian rock-reliefs (including Shapur the First’s famous victory over Roman Emperor Valerian). Continue to Persepolis, one of the most important sites of the Ancient World, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenes kings with remains of the palaces of Darius the Great, Xerxes and Artaxerxes, and its famous bas-reliefs, depicting kings and courtiers and gift-bearing representatives of tributary nations of the Persian Empire. /ON Yazd/

Today after breakfast in hotel, in the city of Wind Towers, we will pick up our cameras and go to the first site to explore the Tower of silence where the Zoroastrian used as a storage house for the dead and dates back to the 18th century. Corpses were left there to decompose and be devoured by birds. Zoroastrians believed burials or cremations would pollute the earth or fire, which are precious elements in their religion. Next we would visit the Fire Temple, the house of eternal fire, although the fire house is made in the 1940s, but the sacred fire has been burning since 470 AD. Then visit Jameh Mosque of Yazd, it includes four iwans, which have been specifically designed for each season. Given the hot and dry climate of the desert area, the iwans have been designed to keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Lunch will be in a traditional hotel where you can taste camel meat. In Yazd Water Museum, we will learn about the old hand-made water supply system, a specialized craft still used in parts of Iran today. Then we go to Art Gallery to capture nice photos and have a cold fruit juice, we are going to enjoy photographing a site which remains a living testament to the classic Persian Garden before sunset. It was built around the year 1750, the UNESCO listed and named Dowlat Abad Gardens. After that we will spend our time around Amir Chakhmaq Complex at evening for taking some photos in night view. After Breakfast in hotel, we depart from Yazd to Isfahan, driving through the central desert of Iran. On the way, we will have a stop in Meybod to see an ancient city that goes back to pre-Islamic arena and is the home to many ancient points of interests. It was the capital of Iran during the Mozaffarid period. One of the oldest castles in Iran is Narin Castle, in Meybod, which dates from the Sasanid. It is one of the most important relics of the province dating back to the period before the advent of Islam to Iran, and has been recorded as one of the national buildings. Next we will visit the Pigeon Tower, this round building once homed four thousand pigeons which dates back to Qajar dynasty. In this pigeon tower, pigeons lived in 20 × 20 cm lodgings which were circularly ordered in three rows. There were four turrets and a centric minaret on the roof so that the pigeons could exit the tower. Hot color of the mogharnas would attract pigeons to the tower. We will also see one of the numerous caravanserais of Iran, Meybod Caravansarai, that were constructed along the highly commuted Silk Road and major trade or pilgrimage routes throughout history. After 120KM drive, we will have lunch in a hotel which our guests always loved the food and told us it was one of the best foods. Next we visit Na’in Jameh Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Iran which dates back to 1000 years ago and the architecture belongs to the early Islamic centuries. It is one of the few mosques that has undergone minor changes and has kept its original form. From here driving 145 Km to Isfahan and in the evening, we check in hotel. /ON Isfahan/

Today we start photography at the beautiful city of Isfahan, the 17th century capital of the Safavids, referred to as Nesf-e-Jahan (Half of the World) in Safavid sources, one of the world’s grandest squares, the Maidan-e-Naghsh-e-Jahan, with several sites, let’s take some photos of the square from roof of the Ali-Qapu Palace with enchanting music rooms and balcony overlooking the Maidan, from where the Safavid Kings watched polo games, and two of Islamic world’s greatest mosques – the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and the Shah Mosque with magnificent architecture and tilework. After having a delicious lunch in a local buffet restaurant, from here we walk to the Chehel Sotun, built by Shah Abbas II in the 17th century; its wooden columns reflected in the surface of the pool give rise to its name ‘The Palace of Forty Columns. Afterwards visit the Armenian Quarter with several churches, including the important Cathedral of Vank Church. The sumptuous interior is richly decorated with restored wall paintings full of life and color, including gruesome martyrdoms, pantomime demons and a fabulous collection of illustrated gospels and Bibles, some dating back as far as the 10th century. At evening we will see the famous bridges, Khajou and Sio-se-pol, at sunset followed by Maidan-e-Naghsh-e-Jahan square again at night time to capture some photos. /ON Isfahan/

Today we leave Isfahan en-routing the wonderful Abyaneh Village, a beautiful village which people are still living in a way they used to live 2500 years ago with red stair houses. Men wear long loose black pants with long coats, and women wear flowery loose shirts and crimp skirts. They wear colorful scarves too. You will be attracted to their clothing to the extent that you can’t resist trying them on or taking them as souvenirs. You can take amazing photos of the village, and then we will continue to Kashan, a town originally famous for its textiles and ceramic production, but now better known for the Fin gardens. The Fin Gardens are our first stop, a relaxing and visually impressive Persian garden with water channels all passing through a central pavilion. There is also a chance to buy some rose water, a local specialty - outside of the site. Next we visit the famous historic house, Tabatabaei house, the house was built in the 1840s for the affluent Tabatabaei family. It consists of four beautiful courtyards, delightful wall paintings with elegant stained-glass windows, and all the other classic signatures of traditional Persian residential architecture. We will walk to the roof of Soltan Amir Ahmad Bath which is a traditional Iranian public bathhouse, with an area of around 1000 square meters, this place is perfect to see beautiful Kashan and take lots of photos. After visiting the Bath, we will head to IKA airport, driving about 207Km. Hope see you in Persia Again.
